What it does
Widgets
Bookmarks with folders and custom icons, notes, to-dos with deadlines, weather, world clocks, calendars from ICS feeds, newsfeeds and a habit tracker.
Your layout
Drag, resize and arrange widgets on a grid. Keep several dashboards and switch between them.
Share with a link
Publish a dashboard at a public link, with an optional password.
Themes and colour
Light and dark themes, custom wallpapers, and a colour override for each widget.
Keyboard shortcuts
Search with Ctrl+K, open the sidebar with Ctrl+comma, and see every shortcut with a question mark.
Account security
Email verification, two-factor authentication with backup codes, and password reset.
How it is built
The principles behind Dashly, and the choices that follow from them.
Light by design
A start page opens many times a day, so Dashly is built without a heavy framework. Less code to download means a faster first view.
One trip to the server
Weather, news feeds and calendars are fetched and cached on our side. Your dashboard loads from one place, and outside services are asked once.
Dashboards stay private until you publish one, and a shared link can carry a password.
Keyboard first
Search, settings and every shortcut are one keypress away, for people who would rather keep their hands on the keys.
